Is anyone else concerned that they cannot receive an honest reference anymore? Does anyone have any ways they are getting around supervisors who have been told to only give out dates and titles?

The only way I know of to deal with this restriction is to ask the candidate to provide a letter of recommendation from a previous employer. Other wise we are limited as employers on how much information we can divulge.
